Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance’s helicopter is offline for maintenance.
The Bell 429 aircraft was flown into Denham Aerodrome in Buckinghamshire on 2 March.
There the green and yellow chopper will undergo work on its rotor brake and fuel filter.
A spokesperson for the charity confirmed that it’s likely to return the week starting 16 March.
They said that critical care medics will continue to respond to emergency calls in their rapid response vehicles.
Neighbouring air ambulance helicopters will be drafted in when an airlift is required.
Unlike most other HEMS charities, Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance does not have a contract in place for access to a spare aircraft while theirs is offline for maintenance.
