Wiltshire Air Ambulance was tasked with a medical emergency near Weymouth.
The helicopter, based in Semington near Melksham, was tasked to the incident in Wyke Regis, Dorset, at around 10.30am this morning (29 September).
Wiltshire 999s understands medics were attending a patient at Wyke Regis and Lanehouse Medical Practice who is believed to have suffered a cardiac arrest.
The air ambulance touched down in the Wyke Regis Junior School field following an approximately 65-mile trip, much to the amazement of pupils.
Wyke Regis TV said the “air ambulance team went off in the ambulance with the patient” before the helicopter flew to Dorchester Hospital to collect their colleagues.
Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance was attending a serious collision on the A35 at the time of the incident, just a short time after attending a medical incident in Mere, Wiltshire.

During that incident, a woman was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.
Wiltshire Air Ambulance returned to its airbase at around 2.10pm having also briefly stopped in Bath, landing at Hampset Cricket Club.
