Victim of ‘hammer attack’ in Swindon missing as police launch urgent search

The victim of a ‘hammer attack’ in Swindon is missing – sparking an urgent search.

Wiltshire Police say they are hunting the man following the incident in Diamond Crescent, Blunsdon St Andrew, on Friday 7 April.

It’s said the victim was attacked with a hammer by two suspects – believed to be a male and a female – at around 10.35pm.

Officers have been unable to find the victim and want to check on the extent of his injuries.

A spokesperson for the force said: “We are concerned for the victim’s welfare as we have thus far been unable to find him and are unable to determine the extent of his injuries.
