A crash closed Great Western Way in Swindon this evening while 999 crews attended the scene.
The five vehicle collision – understood to have included one emergency service vehicle, possibly a police car – closed the road between Mannington Roundabout and Blagrove Roundabout at 6.40pm.
Three fire engines attended the scene, from Swindon, Westlea and Royal Wootton Bassett, after reports of one casualty trapped in a vehicle – however, on arrival, no one was found to be trapped.
Firefighters made the scene safe and left a short time later.
Great Western Way was shut for approximately two hours, reopening at 8.30pm.
No one’s thought to have been serious injured.
