The A361 is closed in both directions following a road traffic collision.
999 responders rushed to the incident near Bishops Cannings, Devizes, at around 4.40pm today (28 February)
It’s not yet clear if anyone has been seriously injured, or how long the road will remain shut.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “Emergency services are currently at the scene of a road traffic collision on the A361 near Bishops Cannings.
“We were called to a two-vehicle collision at around 4.40pm today (28/02) and the road is currently blocked.
“We would urge motorists to avoid the area and find alternative routes at this time.
“Many thanks for your patience.”
