Two teenage boys have been arrested following a ‘knife fight’ in Swindon.
Police rushed to reports of the erupting disorder in Tadpole Garden Village at around 11.40pm last night (Friday, 28 October).
A 14-year-old boy was taken to hospital with a serious injury, which was not caused by a knife. Two others reportedly sustained minor injuries.
Numerous police vehicles were spotted swarming the housing estate, with a significant presence on William Morris Way.
On arrival, officers arrested two boys, aged 16, on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon.
One of the teenagers was further arrested on suspicion of committing criminal damage.
It’s understood the knives were recovered and seized by officers after the suspects attempted to hide them under cars on a resident’s driveway.
