Two suspected thieves have been caught by security guards in a Swindon shopping centre.
Police officers were called to the Swindon Designer Outlet at around 5pm yesterday afternoon, where two women had been detained by guards inside the popular centre.
“Two women, aged 41 and 44, both from Bristol, have been arrested on suspicion of shoplifting and are currently in custody at Gablecross”, a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said.
Two police vans and a car were partially blocking Rodbourne Road while they attended the scene.
