Two boys have been arrested after a barn and machinery were destroyed in a blaze.
Emergency services raced to reports of a major fire in High Post, which is located around three miles south of Amesbury, at around 6pm on Saturday (17 May).
A barn – containing farming machinery – was well alight, with numerous fire crews rushing to tackle the flames.
It’s understood a combine harvester and tractor were completely destroyed. Nobody was injured.
The damage is believed to be in the hundreds of thousands of pounds.
Wiltshire Police has confirmed that two 12-year-old boys are in custody, held on suspicion of arson.
