Two people have been arrested after police officers raided three Wiltshire homes.
Warrants were executed at addresses in Royal Wootton Bassett and Cricklade on Wednesday morning (1 April).
Wiltshire Police said the raids were “as part of ongoing efforts to tackle the supply of illegal drugs in the community” – successfully seizing illicit substances and weapons.
A force spokesperson said: “The warrants were executed under Section 8 of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act following intelligence relating to the suspected supply of Class A drugs.
“Two adults were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
“A number of items relating to drug supply and Class B drugs were seized during the searches, along with offensive weapons.
“The individuals have since been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
“This activity forms part of our continued commitment to disrupt drug-related harm and protect our communities.
“We would encourage anyone with information or concerns about drug activity in their area to report it to us.”
