Two men have been arrested following a raid in Swindon on Monday (23 October).
Police executed an early-morning warrant at a building in Cherry Tree Grove, Pinehurst, after concerns were raised over potential drug-related activity.
Police dog Rey carried out searches alongside officers – locating “lots of drugs”.
Wiltshire Police confirmed that a quantity of class A and class B drugs were discovered, as well as an offensive weapon.
Two men, aged 19 and 28, were arrested on suspicion being concerned in the supply of class A and class B drugs. They have since been released on bail.
One of the men was also arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon in a private place, for which he has been charged and will appear in court at a later date.
Officers went on to secure a partial closure order for the property in order to safeguard other residents at the address.
The order prohibits people from entering the building unless they are named on the court papers. Other people found at the location can be arrested and prosecuted.
