A man is due in court today charged with assaulting two Police Community Police Officers in Trowbridge.
51-year-old John Davis, of Biss Meadow, was been charged with two counts of assault by beating of an emergency worker and using threatening, abusive, insulting words to cause harassment, alarm or distress.
It follows an incident in Wingfield Road yesterday which led to Davis being arrested.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Swindon Magistrates Court this morning.
