A three-vehicle crash on Queens Drive in Swindon is causing traffic delays.

Police were called to the road traffic collision on the Windsor Road junction at around 8am this morning (Tuesday).

The incident – a shunt – involved a white BMW, a red Ford and a black Vauxhall Astra. Two ambulances, a fire crew and police are on scene.

The road is partially blocked, and motorists face delays on the approach in all directions.

UPDATE 8.45AM: The damaged vehicles have been moved out of the carriageway and the road has fully reopened. Delays are clearing, but general rush-hour queues remain in the area.

Nobody is believed to have sustained any serious injuries, but two ambulance crews are on scene assessing patients from the vehicles involved.
