Three men have been charged with grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent following a serious assault in Chippenham last summer.
The victim, a man in his 20s, was attacked near to the Esso Garage in Bath Road at around 2am on Saturday 22 August 2020. He was taken to Royal United Hospital for treatment.
Those charged with GBH with intent include:
– 22-year-old Louis Clifford, of Monks Way, Chippenham
– 22-year-old Harry Frost, of Sandpiper Gardens, Chippenham
– 23-year-old Ryan Jenkins, of Royal Close, Chippenham
All three defendants are due to appear at Swindon Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (27 January).
The offence carries a maximum sentence of life imprisonment.
