A 12-year-old boy was attacked on his way to school this morning.
Wiltshire Police says the youngest was cycling towards the wooden footbridge near the Tesco Extra car park, when he was approached by a group of three men at around 8.45am.
One of them pushed him off his bike and another tried, unsuccessfully, to steal his rucksack. The three men were described as mixed race and all were wearing black hoodies and black snoods.
The men ran from the scene; the victim believes they may have been worried about being spotted.
