A teenage girl has been left with a leg injury following a crash on Friday.

The emergency services attended a road traffic collision between a a black Skoda Superb and a silver Nissan van on the A36 at Wilton, at 4.30pm on 6 January.

Firefighters from Wilton Fire Station extricated one person trapped in a car.

A 13-year-old local girl suffered a leg injury and was taken to Southampton Hospital where she is currently in a stable condition.

Wiltshire Police has launched an appeal for witnesses to the crash.

PC Adrian Giles from the Collision Investigation Unit said: “This is a busy road connecting Warminster with Wilton and Salisbury and I would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or was in the area at the time.”

Anyone with any information is asked to call PC Giles on 101, or you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
