Two teenage boys have been arrested after a car was torched on Halloween.
Emergency services were called to Pasteur Drive, in the Okus area of Old Town, Swindon, at around 10pm on Tuesday evening (31 October).
On arrival, a Vauxhall Insignia was found to be engulfed in flames.
Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the blaze using two hose reel jets.
Police attended the incident and two boys – aged 13 and 14 – were arrested on suspicion of criminal damage. One of the males was also arrested on suspicion of possessing a blade.
They were taken to Gablecross custody for questioning, Wiltshire Police confirmed.
Unusually, instead of the vehicle being recovered, it was left in situ in the middle of the road – severely damaged with tape around it, along with a few cones.
