A Swindon road has been closed after a serious road traffic collision.
Emergency services were called to the incident in Cricklade Road, at the junction with Wheeler Avenue, at around 8pm today (24 June).
Local residents report seeing a “huge” 999 presence – including several fire crews and ambulances, and “so many” police vehicles.
A post in the Wiltshire 999s group suggests people are being cut free from a car at the scene.
Wiltshire Police say the road will be closed for “some time” and it’s thought the road may not reopen until tomorrow.
