A Swindon road is partially blocked this evening as emergency services attend a road traffic collision.
Police and ambulance are currently treating an 11-year-old boy who has been hit by a car on a pelican crossing on Cricklade Road, near Headlands Grove, at around 5.30pm this evening.
A red Toyota is being recovered by police whilst the driver assists officers with their enquiries into the crash after witnesses told of how the vehicle traveled through a red light.

The boy’s injuries aren’t serious, he was able to walk away from the scene after being checked over by a rapid response vehicle paramedic.
