Swindon road closed as emergency services attend incident involving cyclist

A road in Swindon has been closed by police following an incident involving a cyclist. 

Emergency services were called to the scene in Kingsdown Road, near Kingsdown Cemetery, at around 8.30pm.

A 59-year-old male cyclist is being treated on the ground by an ambulance crew.

Police are at the scene working to ascertain the circumstances around how the cyclist came to be unconscious at the roadside. It is not yet clear whether another vehicle was involved.

Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Wiltshire Police quoting log number 292  of today (29 September).
