A man from Swindon has been arrested after allegedly travelling to meet a child.
The suspect, aged in his 50s, was detained by so-called paedophile hunters in Birmingham at around 7.30pm yesterday evening (Sunday, 23 October).
He’s accused of having sexual communication with children online and attending the city to meet a 13-year-old girl.
The police were called to the scene and the man was arrested. An investigation is ongoing.
Wiltshire 999s understands the man, a father who lives in the West Swindon area, was released on bail following his arrest.
