A Swindon criminal who is wanted on a prison recall may have returned home.
Avon and Somerset Police and Wiltshire Police are hunting Lee Mapstone, after he failed to comply with the terms of his release on licence.
Officers want to return him to prison, where he was serving time behind bars for the offence of stalking.
They believe he’s his hometown of Swindon. Anyone who sees him is to call 999 – and do not approach him.
In a statement, Avon and Somerset Police said: “Have you seen Lee Mapstone? He’s wanted on recall to prison after failing to comply with the terms of his licence.
“Lee, 25, is white with blond or light brown hair and darker facial hair. He may have trimmed or shaved his beard.
“He’s believed to have returned to Swindon, Wiltshire.
“Lee was originally jailed for a stalking offence, and we’d urge the public not to approach him.
“If you know where Lee is, please call 999 quoting reference 5226141098, or ring 101 with any other information.”
