A Swindon attempted murder suspect has been named ahead of their court hearing.
Levi Wickett is accused of trying to kill a man in an attack at a property in Tadpole Garden Village in the early hours of Saturday morning (5 October).
The 37-year-old, of Lumb Close, allegedly stabbed the victim – aged in his 20s – at an address.
He is due to appear before Swindon Magistrates’ Court this morning (Monday).
The victim was taken to hospital for treatment, but his injuries aren’t said to be life-threatening.
Forensics teams worked at both the address of the incident and the defendant’s address over the weekend, as they worked to gather vital evidence.
UPDATE: The case was sent to Bristol Crown Court for a plea hearing on 8 November. Wickett was remanded in custody until that date.
