A suspected drug driver has been arrested after a crash near a Swindon M4 junction.
Emergency services were called to a four-vehicle road traffic collision on the A3102 Swindon Road at around 8.20am this morning (Tuesday).
The incident – which happened at the turning for Spittleborough Farm – involved a grey Volvo V40, a white Mercedes flatbed van, a blue flatbed van and a small grey van.
One casualty was taken to hospital as a precaution; they are believed to have sustained minor injuries.
A man, aged in his 30s, was arrested on suspicion of drug driving and has since been released under investigation.
The road was closed between Junction 16 and The Sally Pussey’s Inn for several hours, reopening at around 1pm.
