One of the suspects in Owen Dunn’s murder had been released under investigation, police say.
The 18-year-old was knifed to death in Torun Way, Swindon, at around 1.30pm on Sunday (4 December).
Detectives probing the brutal broad-daylight attack arrested two males – aged 14 and 20 – on suspicion of murder shortly after the incident.
However, the 20-year-old has since been released under investigation. The 14-year-old remains in custody for further questioning.
Owen’s aunty, Lauren Page, has since launched a GoFundMe in a bid to raise money to give him the “best possible send-off he truly deserves”. Donations have hit nearly £8,000.
Writing on the fundraising page, Ms Page said: “As of the 4th Dec 2022, our world came crashing down; our beautiful boy Owen was taken from us in the most horrible way.
“As Owen’s auntie, I’m asking you all for your help to take the burden of the funeral costs off my sister Zoe and my brother-in-law Graham if you could help in any way possible to give our boy the best possible send-off he truly deserves.
“This would mean the world to us thank you from the bottom of our hearts RIP in eternal peace our boy Owen.”
