A person threatening to jump from a bridge has closed a road in Swindon.
Emergency services are currently at the scene of the incident on Westfield Way. The road’s blocked in both directions by police as officers attempt to rescue the distressed person.
The bridge is located in Woodhall Park and cross the road near the Purton Road junction.
UPDATE 1.45PM: The road has reopened; the patient will be taken to a safe place.
