A second closure is in place on the M4 after a traffic collision near Junction 16.

Emergency services were called to the westbound carriageway at around 6.30pm (Thursday).

National Highways say the incident happened between junctions 16 and 17.

Traffic has been stopped, with delays building in the area.

Police, fire and ambulance are in attendance.

The earlier car fire, which was on the same stretch of motorway, has now cleared.
