A Swindon secondary school has issue a warning to their pupils’ parents after a young girl was followed by a suspicious car on her way home this afternoon.
The student, who goes to Ridgeway School in Wroughton, was followed when she got off the school bus near her home in the village of Chiseldon.

Dawn Blackler, who’s understood to work in pastoral care at the school, sent an email to all the parents of children that attend Ridgeway School.
“We have been advised that one of our students was followed by a car after she got off the school bus in Chiseldon on her way home.
“The incident was reported to the police and there is an ongoing police investigation.
“Student safety is our primary concern and if you or your children have an [sic] worries please contact the police and myself at the school.”
