Royal Wootton Bassett stabbing victim arrested after hospital discharge

The victim of a stabbing in Royal Wootton Bassett on New Year’s Day has been arrested.

Wiltshire Police say the 15-year-old, who suffered knife wounds, was discharged from hospital and arrested today (2 January).

He remains in custody for questioning, held on suspicion of violent disorder.

A 14-year-old boy and 15-year-old boy have since been released on bail pending further enquiries.

A 23-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has also been released on bail.
