A serious collision has closed a road in Colerne this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Bath Road, near the rugby club, at around 3pm.
Two vehicles were involved in the crash, with one — a van — leaving the road and overturning in a field.
At least one person has been seriously hurt, requiring treatment from specialist medics at Wiltshire Air Ambulance which landed nearby.
Traffic officers from Wiltshire Police were in attendance, alongside the fire service who extricated the casualty from the overturned van.
It’s not yet clear when the road will reopen.
