Two riot vans were sent to reports of a mass disorder breaking out in Swindon this evening.
Police raced to the scene in Culborne Road, off East Wichel Way, at before 7.30pm.
On arrival, it became clear that the altercation involved just two people but a large group had gathered to spectate. Those involved dispersed when officers arrived.
Locals are likely to notice increased police patrols in the area this evening.
