Police are investigating after woman ‘tried to touch’ a boy at Trowbridge Park.
A man had taken his two-year-old child to the play area before the incident on Tuesday 15 April.
As they were returning, walking along Park Road, at around 6.40pm – a woman “tried getting close to and reaching out for” for youngster.
The boy’s mother, in a post on social media, said the incident was “very scary and has shaken us all up”.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said the force is investigating a report of a “woman behaving suspiciously in Trowbridge Park”.
They added: “We are still in the early stages of our enquiries.”
