A serious road traffic collision has closed a road near Melksham.
Police, fire and ambulance are currently at the scene of the incident on the A350 near Beanacre; the road is expected to remain closed for several more hours.
The serious crash involved a car and a lorry, according to witnesses.
Two people are said to have been rescued by firefighters and handed over to South Western Ambulance Service and Great Western Air Ambulance.
Faresaver Buses say they are diverting the X34 bus via via Corsham until further notice, meaning Beanacre and Lacock are not being served.
