Police have raided a homeless hostel in Chippenham over drug dealing fears.
Simultaneous warrants were conducted at Unity House in Wood Lane and at an address in Hare and Hounds Street, Devizes, this morning (Tuesday).
During the raids, carried out by neighbourhood officers with the support of armed response and dog units, seized Class B drugs.
The find was thanks to the nose of police dog Rey.
However, no arrests have been made but an investigation is ongoing, according to a Wiltshire Police spokesperson.
Sgt Jamie Ball said: “We’d like to thank the community for providing us with information regarding suspected drug supply as it helps us disrupt those causing harm within our neighbourhoods. Please continue to report concerns.”
