Wiltshire Police are stepping up patrols in the Monkton Park area of Chippenham following reports of a man watching children while they use a public toilet.
At approximately 3.45pm on 31 May, police received a report of a man acting suspiciously in the toilets behind The Tenth Hole Tea Room on Salders Mead.
According to social media reports by concerned parents, the man was ‘peeping’ on children – including a 12-year-old boy, using the toilets. However, this report is unconfirmed.
He is described as white, aged in his late 30s or early 40s, just over 5ft tall, with tanned skin and a shaved head. He had stubble on his face, dark eyes and was wearing a white t-shirt, dark trousers and was carrying a white Superdry shoulder bag.
PCSO Pete Collins said: “We’d like to hear from anyone who may have seen this man in the area, or anyone who may know who he is from the description we have received.
“We have received ongoing reports of anti-social behaviour in this area and will be increasing patrols around the Monkton Park area in a bid to stamp this out.”
