Police responded to an incident at Chippenham railway station last Thursday (6 July).
It came after a report was made alleging that a group of youths were acting in an anti-social manner at around 6.49pm.
Officers attended the scene – but after speaking to those involved, all was found to be in order and no arrests were made.
Rumours of a person threatening the youths with a broken bottle appear to be untrue.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We were called at 6.39pm on Thursday to a report of youths acting in an anti-social manner by Chippenham railway station.
“Officers attended and spoke with various persons who all appeared intoxicated. No arrests were made.”
