Two air ambulances have been tasked to a serious crash near a wildlife park.

Emergency services were called to a road traffic collision on the A361 just south of Burford, Oxfordshire, at around 3.30pm this afternoon (Thursday).

Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance and Great Western Air Ambulance are both in attendance, landing at the scene shortly before 4pm.

The A361 is blocked in both directions in the Signet area – which is located between Burford and Lechlade, close to Cotswold Wildlife Park.

According a local resident, The Burford School bus is stuck in the traffic – and can’t pass.

The road is likely to remain closed for some time while 999 crews work at the incident.
