Police in Swindon are investigating a collision involving a Wiltshire 999s member of staff.
News producer Daniel Webb, who uses a bicycle to travel around town covering news, was hit by a car on Cricklade Road at around 9pm on Tuesday night, 13 February.
While he was turning right into Beatrice Street, a dark-coloured people carrier attempted to overtake him – despite him signalling to turn. The vehicle collided with him, but failed to stop at the scene.
He was left shaken by the incident, but luckily, not injured.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We received a report that a cyclist had been hit by a car in Cricklade Road shortly after 9pm yesterday. The cyclist wasn’t injured.
“Anyone who witnessed the incident should call police on 101.”
