A manhunt is underway in Devizes after a suspect ran from police officers.
The man – described as a white male, in his mid-30s, of large build with gingery blonde hair and beard – made off from police at Morrisons supermarket in Estcourt Street.
The police helicopter and more than ten police vehicles are involved in the search, which appears to be based around the Nursteed Road of the town, where he was seen at 3.30pm.
Sightings of the suspect should be called in to police on 999.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said he is not a danger to the public.
