The ambulance service called the police for help this evening after a man become hostile.
Paramedics were initially sent to the scene in Pinehurst Road at around 6pm on Christmas Day to treat a male casualty – though the exact nature of the man’s illness or injuries are unknown.
But during their visit to the address the South Western Ambulance Service requested the presence of the police as the casualty became hostile towards them.
A police car, police van, a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance attended the incident.
The road is partially blocked by the emergency service vehicles parked outside the address.
Wiltshire Police has been approached for comment.
