A man has been arrested following a paedophile hunter sting in Swindon.
The so-called child protection group confronted the suspect on his own doorstep in the Rodbourne area at around 8.30pm last night (Friday, 24 June).
They accused the man, 50s, of having sexual communication with a 13-year-old girl, who was actually a fake account set up by the group to catch potential offenders.
Wiltshire Police confirmed that they were called to the scene and arrested the man on suspicion of engaging in sexual communication with a child.
He has been released on bail – while officers continue their investigation.
