A man’s been arrested after police were called to an incident in Corsham at the weekend.
Officers, alongside paramedics, raced to reports of a rape at an address in the Freestone Way area early on Saturday morning (15 April).
An area was cordoned off whilst detectives attended and forensic work was carried out at the scene.
A man Bristol, aged in his 40s, was arrested on suspicion of rape and assault.
He was questioned at Gablecross custody in Swindon before being released on conditional bail.
