A person in distress on a bridge is causing traffic chaos on the A419 in Swindon.
Emergency services were called to the mental health incident on the White Hart Roundabout at around 6.15pm this evening (Monday).
Police have closed part of the junction, with motorists stuck in standstill traffic on the A419 in both directions.
Fire crews, and an aerial ladder platform appliance, have been sent to the scene along with ambulance crews and police.
The person is said to be in a precarious position, so a rescue operation is likely to ensue.
