A pedestrian has been treated by medics after being hit by a car in Chippenham.
Emergency services were called to a road traffic collision on the junction connecting Avenue La Fleche and Gladstone Road just before 7am today (Monday).
The incident involved a car and a male pedestrian, Wiltshire Police confirmed.
Two police units and an ambulance were sent to the scene, with the casualty being treated by paramedics – before being discharged on site.
“It is not believed he sustained serious injuries”, a force spokesperson said.
South Western Ambulance Service confirmed that a double-crewed ambulance was sent to the incident. It’s understood nobody was taken to hospital.
