Mystery surrounds a heavy police and forensics presence spotted in Calne.
The incident was ongoing in Broken Cross, off The Pippin, at around 8pm on Friday (2 June).
A local resident reported seeing forensic work underway at the scene into the late evening – with an investigator dressed in a white protective suit taking photographs in the road.
At least two police cars and a crime scene van were parked at the location. It’s not clear whether the incident occurred in a house or in the street.
Wiltshire Police was approached for a statement. However, with the information provided by Wiltshire 999s, they were unable to find details of the incident on their system – and therefore could not comment.
