A motorcyclist has been arrested after injuring himself in a crash in Swindon.
Emergency services were called to a single-vehicle road traffic collision in Pipers Way at around 12.30pm on Tuesday afternoon (10 December).
The rider of a white 125CC motorbike – said to be a young man – reportedly lost control and came off the vehicle near the Nationwide HQ roundabout.
He sustained a broken collar bone and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Wiltshire Police has since confirmed the man was arrested on suspicion of drug driving.
In a statement, the force said: “We responded to a single-vehicle road traffic collision involving a motorcycle on Pipers Way at 12.30pm this afternoon (10/12).
“The rider was arrested on suspicion of drug driving. He was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.”
