A motorbike’s been ditched in a dead end road following a police chase in Swindon.
Officers attempted to pull over the Suzuki GSR600 in the Blagrove Roundabout area – near Junction 16 – at around midday today, but the rider failed to stop.
A pursuit was quickly authorised and a short high speed chase ensued into Grange Park.
Just a few minutes later, the motorbike was abandoned in Holbein Place and the rider made off on foot in the direction of Whitehill Way, towards Freshbrook.
A dog until, supported by the drone (UAV) unit, were called in to assist at the scene.
Wiltshire Police say their enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
