A manhunt is underway after a woman was attacked by a masked suspect in Cirencester.

The woman was treated by paramedics, with Great Western Air Ambulance landing metres from the scene shortly after the incident happened.

Her injuries are not said to be physically life-changing or life-threatening.

The suspect, described as being of a slim build and around five foot eleven inches to six foot tall, was wearing a black puffer jacket, with a covering across his face and black gloves.
