A man has ‘unexpected’ died after a single-vehicle crash in Wiltshire.
Emergency services were called at road traffic collision on the B4040 at Stonehill, near Minety, at around 5.10pm on Sunday 14 April this year.
The incident involved a black Volkswagen GTI, which is believed to have left the road.
Two passengers within the vehicle were taken to hospital only as a precaution – but one of them, a man aged in his 20s, died around one month later.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “His family are being support by specially trained officers and our thoughts are with them.”
An investigation into the crash is ongoing, with the driver of the car having been interviewed under caution about the events of that day.
The force is appealing for anyone who recalls seeing the vehicle that day and may have CCTV or dashcam footage of the vehicle to get in touch immediately by calling 101 quoting reference 54240042457.
