A man’s suffered serious injuries in a hit-and-run on a Swindon industrial estate this morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Elgin Drive at around 1.53am, where the 33-year-old was struck by what police say was a blue estate car, which then left the scene.
The man suffered serious pelvic injuries and was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol.
A police spokesperson said: “Enquiries into the whereabouts of the vehicle and driver involved in the collision are ongoing but it is believed that those involved are known to each other.
“Officers would like to hear from anybody who witnessed the collision.
“If you were in the area at the time, and have any information, please call 101 and quote log number 85 of 1 January 2019.”
