A man’s been injured in a crash in a quiet Chippenham cul-de-sac this evening.

Police were called to the scene in Kingsley Road at around 6pm following reports of a car colliding with a van, which was reportedly parked at the time.

A dark-coloured Ford Mondeo is believed to have crashed, for reasons currently unknown, head-long into a white van at the bottom of the cul-de-sac.

An ambulance was sent to the incident after the driver of the car suffered minor injuries.

It’s not known if anyone’s been arrested, or if any offences have been identified.

UPDATE: Man arrested on suspicion of drink driving after crash in cul-de-sac
